About the role

Microsoft Security is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Identity team, focusing on protecting users from large‑scale sign‑up and telecom attacks. You will work on cutting‑edge anti‑fraud solutions that combine threat intelligence, machine learning, and distributed system design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement detection and blocking mechanisms for bot accounts, phishing, spam, and revenue‑share fraud.
• Investigate advanced nation‑state attacks and translate findings into actionable defenses.
• Develop, train, and deploy machine‑learning models that ingest threat‑intelligence signals from across the Internet.
• Build and maintain a state‑of‑the‑art ML platform for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with experts in AI, security, and distributed systems to continuously improve the protection stack.
