Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Linux Platform Engineer to own, operate and continuously improve our Linux‑based platforms and services. This position focuses on system engineering, platform reliability, automation and production operations, and does not involve application development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly available Linux platforms.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and monitoring using Ansible and Bash scripts.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure security, stability and performance.
• Support live production environments, diagnose issues directly on Linux systems and drive incident resolution.
• Manage container workloads, Docker images and related tooling.
• Implement logging, troubleshooting and performance‑tuning practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Linux Systems Administration or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on background working in production environments.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals: services, processes, networking, storage, filesystems, user and permission management.
• Proven ability to work independently in a terminal‑centric environment.
