Store Assistant

About the role

As a Store Assistant you will support the smooth operation of our hotel’s food, beverage and supplies stores. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and work alongside experienced team members, with clear pathways for internal progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage storage and requisition of all food, beverage, cleaning chemicals, stationery and disposables, maintaining appropriate par stock levels.
• Accept deliveries, inspect for damage and ensure compliance with HACCP regulations.
• Store items correctly, applying a first‑in‑first‑out rotation system, especially for perishable goods.
• Take ownership of the purchasing process from order processing to delivery verification.
• Source, select and negotiate purchasing packages with suppliers based on quality, price, terms and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing or hotel operations is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow health and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and develop through internal training programmes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP regulations.
