Duty Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Duty Manager will support the General Manager and Deputy Manager in delivering seamless hotel operations across all departments. This role offers exposure to reception, accommodation, food & beverage outlets and the kitchen, ensuring guests receive excellent service at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the GM and Deputy Manager in the effective and efficient operation of the hotel, covering reception, accommodation, F&B outlets and kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage service, especially during peak periods.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, professional service from all team members.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and manage guest complaints to turn experiences into positive outcomes.
• Carry out security, health and safety, and departmental checklists.
• Prioritise the safety of guests and staff while on duty.
• Provide support across departments as needed and perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Duty Manager in a 4‑star hotel.
• At least 3 years’ food and beverage experience in a 4‑star hotel.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in hotel management or a related field is an advantage.
• Passionate about guest satisfaction and a strong team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
