About the role
AbbVie is seeking a Unit Dose Contamination Control Operator (CCO) to join its Westport, County Mayo site. The role supports aseptic product filling in the Unit Dose Compounding/Filling department and assists shift janitorial duties on a 12‑hour shift covering Saturday, Sunday and Monday (8 am – 8 pm).
Key responsibilities
- Perform gowning procedures for Grade B and Grade C cleanroom environments.
- Execute daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks according to department SOPs.
- Top up gown and scrub supplies and monitor the compounding/filling area each shift.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to good aseptic practices.
- Conduct triple‑clean procedures and follow cGMP requirements.
- Complete all assigned duties as directed by the manager or line lead.
- Stay current with SOP revisions and complete required safety and cGMP training.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or cleanroom setting.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional attitude with a focus on safety.
