Urban Designer – Purposeful Urban Design Projects

About the role

We are looking for an Urban Designer to join a leading architectural studio focused on purposeful urban design. You will work alongside senior designers on a variety of projects, from residential and educational buildings to workplaces and healthcare facilities, helping shape vibrant public spaces across Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior team members in the design and delivery of urban projects.
• Create layouts, masterplans and public space concepts that meet community and planning requirements.
• Develop Revit models, drawings and visualisations to communicate design intent.
• Prepare design presentations, planning applications and project documentation.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout all stages of the design process.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in urban design, architecture or a related field.
• Strong understanding of urban design principles and Irish planning regulations.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent visual and verbal communication skills.
• Well‑organised, detail‑oriented and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit for modelling and visualisation.
