Graphic Designer – Marketing (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Aran Sweater Market is looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join its Marketing Department in Killarney. This on‑site, fixed‑term position will help shape the visual identity of the brand across digital, print, retail and social media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging email newsletters and website banners to drive customer interaction and sales.
• Update and edit website imagery in line with brand guidelines and marketing strategy.
• Design digital assets for website, email campaigns, paid advertising and social media.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop cohesive, impactful campaigns.
• Develop creative concepts that align with the Aran Sweater Market brand identity.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Shopify or BigCommerce to support website updates.
• Act as brand custodian, ensuring all creative output follows established guidelines.
• Edit and retouch photography for online and print use.
• Assist with video content, motion graphics and creative storytelling when required.
• Support stores with marketing materials, signage and point‑of‑sale displays.
• Manage multiple projects in a high‑pressure environment while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print work.
• Excellent visual communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify or BigCommerce is desirable.
