UX/UI Designer

About the role

Citco is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join its global Design group. The role is based in Ireland and will support a range of financial‑services products, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation and reporting to the EMEA Design Manager in London.

Key responsibilities

• Create and iterate UX artifacts such as prototypes, wireframes, service blueprints and high‑fidelity designs.
• Incorporate user feedback and business requirements into design specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and other cross‑functional teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Champion design‑centered improvements and refinements throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Passionate about user‑centered design and systems thinking.
• Strong visual design sensibility and ability to apply design principles from concept to detailed execution.
• Self‑motivated, analytical and capable of solving complex problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• UX fundamentals: research, wireframes, mockups, prototyping, high‑fidelity designs, usability testing.
• Experience using design systems to ensure consistent design practices.
• 3‑5 years of professional UX/UI design experience with a supporting portfolio.
