Warehouse Operator – Full‑time On‑site Role

About the role

Charles River is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to join its Rathcoole site (D24 NF21) in Dublin. This full‑time, on‑site position offers a structured 37.5‑hour week, Monday to Friday, and is ideal for candidates who enjoy active, physical work in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and distribute shipments following standard operating procedures (SOP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines.
• Package materials according to SOP and maintain an orderly dock and warehouse area.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute documentation for all shipped materials.
• Coordinate courier pick‑ups and deliveries as required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate or higher education qualification.
• Relevant experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred) and ability to commute to the D24 area.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (desirable).
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Basic knowledge of electronic equipment, instrumentation, and spare parts handling.
