About the role
The Financial Lines Insurance Account Handler will join Howden's Financial Lines Commercial team in Dublin, supporting Account Executives to deliver tailored insurance advice and high‑quality service to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately, responding to client queries by phone or email.
- Produce accurate documentation, issue renewal paperwork and input data.
- Process policy adjustments, notify insurers, issue revised documents and collect additional premium.
- Manage client payments in line with Howden procedures.
- Escalate queries beyond personal authority to senior staff.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in an insurance environment.
- APA commercial insurance qualification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain organised records.
- Attention to detail when reviewing policy documents to ensure compliance.
