Audit Senior – Asset Management

About the role

Grant Thornton is looking for an Audit Senior to join its rapidly expanding Asset Management team within the Audit & Assurance practice. The successful candidate will lead audit engagements for a wide variety of asset‑management clients, including funds, private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, structured finance and special purpose vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, covering risk assessment, audit programme development and fieldwork.
• Ensure audits are performed in line with professional standards and Grant Thornton’s internal policies.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance throughout the engagement.
• Collaborate with clients in local markets and major international financial centres.
• Contribute to the growth of the Financial Services Audit team by supporting new business development.

Required profile

• Passionate, driven and self‑motivated professional.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage the full audit lifecycle across a diverse client base.
• Experience auditing asset‑management entities such as funds, private equity or real‑estate structures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
