Cybersecurity Threat & Vulnerability Manager – Technology Consulting

About the role

PwC is seeking a Threat and Vulnerability Manager to join its Cybersecurity & Privacy advisory team in Dublin. In this senior position you will lead a group of security specialists, helping clients identify, assess and mitigate cyber threats across their organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments, red‑team exercises, web‑application penetration testing and vulnerability scans.
• Review secure configurations of network devices, servers, databases and cloud environments.
• Advise clients on regulatory frameworks and standards such as NIS2, ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Develop and maintain advanced red‑team infrastructure and payloads to evade modern EDR solutions.
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools and compliance requirements.
• Support the growth of the Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) practice and expand service offerings.

Required profile

• Strong experience in offensive security and proven leadership of diverse technical teams.
• Hands‑on expertise in developing payloads, obfuscation techniques and ransomware simulation scripts.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent in a fast‑changing environment.
• Relevant technical security certifications are a plus.
