Expeditor – Mining Operations (2 Positions)

About the role

We are seeking two Expeditors to support our Simberi mining operation in Papua New Guinea. The role ensures that all materials, equipment, spare parts and services are delivered on time to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate purchase orders from creation to final delivery on the Simberi Islands.
• Confirm that suppliers receive purchase orders and acknowledge receipt.
• Provide accurate, up‑to‑date status reports to operational departments.
• Track supplier performance and alert the purchasing team to any delays or non‑responsive behaviour.
• Prioritise expediting requests to meet critical operational timelines.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining cost‑effectiveness.
• Be available outside normal hours when operational requirements dictate.

Required profile

• Experience in expediting, procurement or supply‑chain support, preferably in a mining or remote‑site environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work on a 21/14 roster and travel to various PNG locations.
