Part-Time Sales Assistant

About the role

EUROSPAR Castlecomer is seeking a dedicated and customer‑focused Part‑Time Sales Assistant. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced retail environment, is passionate about delivering excellent service, and takes pride in creating a positive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Replenish stock and assist with stock rotation as required.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the store.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the store and work effectively as part of the team.
• Assist in achieving sales targets and store objectives.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Good judgement and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑focused with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts across Monday to Sunday (10‑15 hours per week).
