Part‑Time Verification Officer – Skibbereen NDLS

About the role

SGS Ireland is seeking a part‑time Verification Officer for its Skibbereen NDLS centre on a three‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for processing driver licence applications, ensuring compliance with identity and document validation rules, and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process driving licence applications within defined timeframes while adhering to NDLS business rules.
• Apply due diligence to all documents, image captures, and signature uploads using the NDLS Front Office Solution.
• Follow guidelines for the proper use of the Front Office Solution and Dual Screen Technology.
• Complete mandatory on‑site and virtual training and maintain accurate training records.
• Report any discrepancies, security incidents, or data breaches to the Regional Supervisor and relevant helpdesks.
• Comply with SGS Code of Integrity, Equality & Diversity policies, and other corporate policies.
• Travel to other NDLS centres as required and work Saturdays on a fair roster rotation.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment in line with health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate and/or FETAC Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Dynamic, confident, and motivated individual with a proven track record in the service‑delivery sector.
• Strong customer‑service focus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
