Relief Staff Nurse – General Ward

About the role

Peamount Healthcare is seeking a Relief Staff Nurse to provide holistic support to service users in the General Side of the facility. This on‑site, relief‑only position offers flexible hours based on service need.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the General Side.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centred services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to HSE policies.
• Report professionally to the Director of Nursing and operationally to the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 and ADON.

Required profile

• Qualified staff nurse eligible for relief work.
• Availability to work 0–37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to meet service demands.
• Willingness to commence the role within a reasonable timeframe.
• Commitment to the values of person‑centred care, respect, excellence, teamwork, quality improvement, and education.
