Senior Product Manager - Self Service Cloud

About the role

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its self-service cloud offering. The role leads key areas of self-service cloud growth, helping self-service customers and trial users succeed, and focuses on human user onboarding and agent onboarding to drive growth of Elastic Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for self-service cloud growth, covering onboarding and trial experience, feature adoption and trial activation, customer interviews and churn analysis, engagement analytics and email nurturing.
• Work with engineering leads to prioritize technical investments and set realistic delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with Elastic's Observability, Security and Enterprise Search teams to understand their onboarding flows and trial experience.
• Drive technical decisions on onboarding, activation, expansion and retention of self-service customers.
• Gather feedback from customers and trial users on their trial experience.
• Work with Sales and Marketing on competitive positioning and brand awareness.
• Drive native integrations with third-party developer platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product management experience with deep technical products.
• Demonstrated experience shipping self-service cloud products with self-service trials.
• Data-driven approach to product decisions, with experience in product adoption and analysis.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with globally distributed, asynchronous teams.

Required skills

• Strong background in Product-Led Growth.
• Bonus points: direct experience with Elasticsearch or similar search/database technologies, product marketing background, and experience with cloud service provider marketplaces.

What we offer

• Base salary only, with no variable component; typical range €85,600 to €135,500.
