Senior Project Manager

About the role

Whitewater Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale construction engineering projects across Ireland and mainland Europe. The role focuses on data‑centre, pharma, power and industrial water‑treatment infrastructure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on‑site construction activities, aligning work with project scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate client project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to meet project goals.
• Ensure site safety, regulatory compliance and adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Obtain and maintain permits, approvals and other external stakeholder requirements.
• Monitor daily operations, resolve issues, manage risks and keep the project on track.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality control and specification compliance.
• Oversee integration of mechanical, electrical and system components such as WTP skids, modular builds, tanks, pipe racks, pump stations and automation controls.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop testing procedures and ensure effective system integration.

Required profile

• Proven track record in construction engineering and site management on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects in data‑centre or similar critical‑infrastructure environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental sustainability.
