Senior Salesforce Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Salesforce to join a fast‑moving engineering team in Ireland. You will design, develop, and optimise scalable Salesforce solutions that power critical business and customer‑facing processes, working closely with architects, product managers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Apex code, Lightning Web Components, Flows and other native Salesforce features.
• Write clean, efficient, SOLID‑compliant code and optimise SOQL/SOSL queries within governor limits.
• Build and maintain secure REST and SOAP API integrations.
• Participate in sprint delivery, code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering output.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to accelerate development, debugging and documentation.
• Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience as a Salesforce Software Engineer or Developer.
• Proven expertise in Apex (triggers, async processing, batch, scheduled jobs).
• Solid experience building Lightning Web Components and using Salesforce UI frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce data models, custom objects, flows and automation.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Salesforce CLI and deployment tools.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
