About the role

Store Supervisor - Part Time at EUROSPAR Applewood, Dublin 15 is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused professional to support the day‑to‑day running of the store, lead the retail team and ensure excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the retail sales team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally.
• Assist with staff training, performance management, and recruitment.
• Support store operations, including merchandising, promotions, maintaining store standards, and cash handling procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, stock rotation, waste control, and stocktakes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Health & Safety, HACCP, labour law, and security procedures.
• Communicate store performance and operational updates to the team.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and deputise in their absence.

Required profile

• Previous retail supervisory experience, preferably in a food retail environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Good knowledge of retail operations, stock control, and food safety standards.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, HACCP, and employment legislation.
• Commercially aware with a proactive and positive approach.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
