Accommodation Assistant (Full & Part Time)

About the role

The Ellison Hotel is seeking enthusiastic Accommodation Assistants to join its dynamic housekeeping team. You will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across public areas and guest rooms, working either full‑time or part‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, prepare, and organise all public areas and bedrooms according to SOPs.
• Use room lists proactively and ensure priority and arrival rooms are ready on time.
• Liaise with front office/events team on lost property, log items and store them appropriately.
• Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Accommodation Manager.
• Set up roll‑away beds and fulfill special room requests before guest arrival.
• Maintain housekeeping office and storerooms in a tidy condition.
• Attend required training and adhere to Health & Safety policies.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with front office, events team, and supervisors.
• Willingness to report guest complaints promptly.
• Ability to follow training and safety procedures.
