Accountant – General Ledger & Statutory Reporting

About the role

Join Adobe’s Accounting Center of Excellence and help drive automation, scalability, and accuracy across our European entities. You will own key aspects of the general ledger, monthly close, and statutory reporting while contributing to high‑impact transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts in line with corporate policies.
• Execute month‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording.
• Support SOX documentation and compliance testing.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives and accounting transformation projects.
• Perform local GAAP accounting on a monthly cycle and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Manage year‑end audit requests and coordinate with external auditors.
• Prepare VAT and other statutory compliance returns on a regular basis.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with customer and support teams.
• Undertake ad‑hoc projects and analyses as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 1‑4 years of experience.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a fluid environment.
• Highly motivated self‑starter focused on continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
