Accountant (Qualified/Part-Qualified) – AI‑Driven Chartered Firm

About the role

Join an award‑winning chartered accountancy firm that builds its own software and places AI at the core of its operations. You will manage a portfolio of small‑business clients, deliver financial statements and tax services, and collaborate with engineers to automate accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and nurture a client portfolio as the primary point of contact.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts.
• Handle income tax, corporation tax returns, CRO filings and company secretarial duties.
• Respond promptly to client queries by phone and email, ensuring timely delivery.
• Work with in‑house engineers to develop and implement automation for bookkeeping, tax and accounting.
• Identify opportunities to add value for clients and promote additional services.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CPA qualification, or strong part‑qualified experience with practice exposure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
• Solid technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Confident communicator, especially on the phone with business owners.
• Genuine, hands‑on interest in AI and automation technologies.
