Android Developer (Ireland)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Android Engineer to create the native Android experience for BJAK's AI‑powered Neobank app. You will work on fast‑moving, customer‑focused features that simplify complex financial flows into intuitive mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI‑assisted user journeys.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI teams to take features from concept to production.
• Own app quality by monitoring performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases and release stability.
• Use production feedback, analytics and user behaviour to iterate and improve features after launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling and financial workflows with a focus on reliability.

Required profile

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin with a proven record of shipping apps used by real users.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack components, Coroutines and Flow.
• Product‑oriented mindset with a focus on UX, performance and reliability.
• Ability to debug production issues and improve app quality in a fast‑paced environment.
