Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to own the Android client experience of our AI‑powered assistant. You will build a production‑grade Android application where AI interactions are core, ensuring performance, reliability and a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production Android apps using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Integrate AI‑driven features such as chat, vision, voice and recommendation APIs.
• Design UX patterns for streaming responses, retries and partial results.
• Optimize memory usage, latency and CPU consumption for AI‑heavy workflows.
• Implement analytics, logging and feedback mechanisms to support AI evaluation.
• Collaborate with backend and machine‑learning engineers on API contracts and system behavior.
• Ensure app stability, security and scalability in production environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience integrating LLM, vision or speech APIs.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow).
• Familiarity with REST or gRPC APIs and structured data formats.
• Proven debugging and performance‑profiling skills.
• Comfort working with latency, partial failures and non‑deterministic model behavior.
• Experience with MLKit or on‑device TensorFlow Lite inference.
• Published applications on Google Play Store.
