Area Manager – Ireland

About the role

Our client is expanding into the Irish market and seeks an experienced Area Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operation of multiple locations across Ireland. You will be responsible for opening new sites, driving membership growth, and ensuring each club delivers an exceptional customer experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of new site openings from practical completion through to launch.
• Research and assess new locations and market opportunities.
• Support pre‑sale activities and help site teams achieve membership targets.
• Drive local marketing, community engagement and corporate partnerships.
• Ensure operational readiness, compliance and brand standards across all sites.
• Coach, develop and inspire Gym Managers and Assistant Managers.
• Monitor commercial performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement plans.
• Support recruitment and talent development as the business expands.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple sites in a customer‑facing business.
• Track record of opening new locations or leading large operational projects.
• Strong commercial awareness with a history of delivering results.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach with resilience and adaptability.
