Assistant Interior Designer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Interior Designer to work directly with our Lead Interior Designer, Gráinne O’Neill, at our Galway studio. The role offers hands‑on experience across residential and commercial projects, from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with interior architecture and spatial planning.
• Support design development and detailing, including onsite experience.
• Contribute to luxury residential design projects.
• Prepare client presentations and moodboards.
• Research and select materials, fabrics and finishes.
• Participate in site visits and coordinate project activities.
• Apply creative problem‑solving to design challenges.
• Help with studio operations and administration.
• Assist with marketing and social media activities.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Enthusiastic, quick learner with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, close‑knit team.
• Willingness to take on meaningful responsibilities early.
