Assistant Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Manager you will partner with the Store Leader to deliver outstanding customer care and maintain high operational standards across both retail and pharmacy sections. You will engage directly with customers to understand their needs and inspire your team to provide brilliant service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to achieve business growth by delivering exceptional care to customers and patients.
• Manage performance and development of staff through regular coaching, reviews and training.
• Ensure sustainable, efficient retail and pharmacy operations, maintaining stock availability, controlling costs and minimizing loss.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and regular reviews to protect patient and public safety.
• Interpret data, trends and insights to respond quickly to changing customer needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a team in a customer‑facing environment.
• Ability to achieve performance goals through inspiring and coaching staff.
• Collaborative personality thriving in a team‑centred setting.
• Preferably experience in community pharmacy and comfort with new technology.
