Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Falls Restaurant and its associated food outlets at Sheen Falls Lodge, a 2‑Michelin‑star hotel. The role ensures seamless service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, private events, room service and afternoon tea while maintaining 5‑star hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of breakfast, lunch, dinner, private dining, room service and afternoon tea.
• Manage stock levels, ordering and inventory control for all food service areas.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Supervise and coach supervisors and team members on shift.
• Monitor guest experience and address service issues promptly.
• Coordinate staffing levels with the Restaurant Manager based on bookings and occupancy.
• Maintain clean and hygienic work environments, including fridge temperature checks and proper labeling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑end food service or luxury hotel restaurant operations.
• Understanding of 5‑star hospitality standards and guest‑centric service.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Strong focus on safety, hygiene and operational efficiency.
