Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Join Holland & Barrett as an Assistant Store Manager at our Clondalkin location. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead a high‑performing team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and support the store’s commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to motivate and develop staff.
• Coach colleagues to provide world‑class service and build lasting customer relationships.
• Maintain smooth store operations with a customer‑first mindset.
• Drive sales, manage costs, and ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee stock accuracy, visual standards, and promotional execution.
• Uphold compliance, health, safety and wellbeing standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
• Complete product training and stay current with health and wellness trends.

Required profile

• Confident, adaptable leader thriving in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Clear communicator able to coach, motivate and build trust.
• Commercially aware with a focus on achieving targets.
• Passionate about health, wellness and continuous learning.
• Retail or customer‑service experience with ambition to progress into leadership.
• Comfortable using technology to enhance the customer experience.
