Associate Legal Counsel

About the role
We are looking for an Associate Legal Counsel to join Glanbia’s Group Legal team in Citywest, Dublin. Working on a hybrid basis, you will gain broad in‑house experience across commercial contracts, corporate transactions and advisory work in a fast‑paced multinational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements such as supply, purchase, distribution, licensing, lease and non‑disclosure agreements.
- Advise on enforcement of contractual terms, including termination, exclusivity, restrictive covenants and warranty/indemnity claims.
- Support senior legal colleagues on corporate and M&A matters, including internal restructurings, legal due diligence, confidentiality agreements and heads of terms.
- Provide practical advice on data protection, privacy, AI governance, ESG requirements, competition law, anti‑money laundering and selected employment matters.
- Assist with dispute resolution, manage external counsel and advise on intellectual property protection and infringement issues.
- Contribute to the ongoing update of company policies, legal precedents and deliver training to internal business units.
Required profile
- Recently qualified solicitor, barrister or equivalent with 1‑2 years of experience in‑house or at a large/mid‑tier law firm.
- Strong drafting, negotiating and communication skills.
- Solid commercial contracts experience in a dynamic environment.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical approach to problem‑solving and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
