Associate – Litigation & Regulation (Corporate Insolvency)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate to join our Litigation & Regulation practice, which advises on corporate and personal insolvency, restructuring and related regulatory matters. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base and a mix of contentious and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Advise insolvency practitioners, banks, corporates, creditors and directors on both contentious and non‑contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.
• Handle secured creditor enforcement, trading and fixed‑asset receiverships, liquidations, examinerships and part‑schemes.
• Provide guidance on directors’ duties and cross‑border insolvency for corporate and individual cases.
• Manage commercial litigation matters, draft pleadings, liaise with counsel and oversee case files to conclusion.
• Deliver regulatory advice, including data‑protection, cybersecurity disputes and emerging‑technology regulation such as AI governance.
• Interpret relevant case law and legislation, maintain client relationships and work closely with senior department members.
• Advise on alternative dispute resolution options and participate in mediations and arbitrations.

Required profile

• Agile, adaptable candidate with experience in both contentious and advisory work.
• Strong academic record.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) from a top‑ or mid‑tier law firm, an interesting in‑house role, or returning to Ireland.
