Associate Project Manager – Data Centres

About the role

AECOM is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead data‑centre and colocation projects from concept through commissioning. Based in Dublin, you will ensure mission‑critical facilities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent data‑centre projects and manage client relationships.
• Drive revenue growth by delivering high‑quality projects that encourage repeat business.
• Maintain targeted profit margins and avoid financial write‑downs.
• Identify and mitigate risks, including Risk Triggering Factors, to protect project outcomes.
• Lead complex, high‑value client engagements and guide project teams in risk mitigation.
• Direct teams to operate efficiently while minimizing exposure to contractual claims.
• Supervise and mentor Project Managers handling multiple projects or large programmes.

Required profile

• Experience in the building sector, preferably with data‑centre or infrastructure projects.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Working towards chartered status with RICS, CIOB, ICE, RIBA or Engineers Ireland.
• Membership or affiliation with the Association for Project Management (APM) is an advantage.
