Auditor – Finance & Human Resources (Audit Services)

About the role

Join Northern Trust’s Audit Services team as an Auditor focused on Finance and Human Resources. You will work on regulatory reporting, treasury management and financial risk audits, supporting the protection of the firm’s assets and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end audit engagements covering capital management, accounting, risk management, payroll and selected operational activities.
• Assess compliance with laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare high‑quality audit documentation and ensure timely delivery of findings.
• Collaborate with senior management and audit stakeholders in London, Chicago and Manila.
• Contribute to the expansion of audit coverage and improvement of audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics; advanced degree in Law or Legal Management is a plus.
• Relevant experience in banking, financial services or public accounting.
• Professional certification such as CIA or CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of auditing techniques within the financial services environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, global audit team across time zones.
