Backend Platform Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Backend Platform Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering group. In this hands‑on role you will design, build and continuously improve the foundational platforms, tooling and automation that enable product engineering teams to deliver software efficiently, securely and at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable platform services, tooling and automation for product engineering teams.
• Develop high‑quality, reusable frameworks and infrastructure components.
• Influence platform architecture, technology selection and long‑term roadmap.
• Build and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
• Implement reliable, resilient and secure systems following SecOps and DevOps best practices.
• Drive improvements in observability (metrics, logging, tracing) and system reliability.
• Develop internal tools, automation and workflows that boost engineering productivity.
• Partner with engineering teams to enable a modern, friction‑free development ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience in platform engineering and cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Hands‑on mindset with a passion for building reusable, scalable solutions.
• Ability to work across multiple domains such as CI/CD, container orchestration, event streaming and observability.
