Business Development Consultant

About the role

Hireland HR is seeking a full‑time remote Business Development Consultant to generate new opportunities across Ireland and the UK. You will promote a combined suite of recruitment, HR outsourcing, and market‑entry services for companies looking to expand into Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients in Ireland and the UK.
• Build and manage a pipeline of recruitment, HR and market‑entry opportunities.
• Develop relationships with firms planning to enter the Italian market.
• Create strategic referral partnerships with accounting, legal and recruitment professionals.
• Conduct discovery meetings, present tailored solutions and prepare proposals.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support the closing of new business.
• Collaborate with internal recruitment, HR, legal and operational teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor commercial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, recruitment or professional consulting.
• Strong lead‑generation, communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Consultative, client‑focused sales approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet targets.
• Fluent English; Italian and/or German are a plus.
• Degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or a related field.
