Business Development Consultant

About the role

TXT International is seeking a Business Development Consultant to join its international executive search team. The role is primarily remote, targeting candidates in the Manchester, Birmingham or Dublin areas, and focuses on generating new business opportunities and building relationships with prospective clients worldwide. Successful consultants will have the chance to evolve into a full‑cycle Executive Search Consultant, managing searches from inception to placement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new client opportunities across global markets.
• Initiate contact with senior professionals via phone, email and virtual meetings.
• Maintain and update a robust pipeline of prospects.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to understand service offerings and tailor proposals.
• Attend occasional in‑person meetings at the Manchester, Birmingham or Dublin offices.
• Support the transition to full‑cycle search assignments as experience grows.

Required profile

• Confident communicator comfortable speaking with senior executives.
• Ambitious, self‑motivated and results‑driven.
• Ability to organise workload and work independently in a remote setting.
• Positive attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
