About the role

Hosons Brands is seeking a full‑time Business Development Executive to work on‑site in the Greater Dublin Area. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and building strong partnerships with independent, specialty retail and convenience channels. The role combines account management, market expansion and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth for international premium brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, target and win new business across independent, specialty retail and convenience channels.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective accounts through outbound prospecting (phone, email, in‑person visits).
  • Secure new listings and distribution opportunities for the Hosons portfolio.
  • Develop relationships with store owners, buyers, managers and decision‑makers.
  • Support new product launches and market‑expansion initiatives.
  • Maintain strong in‑store execution, visibility and product placement for existing accounts.
  • Monitor stock levels, promotional activity and gather market feedback.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline progress and provide regular market insights.

Required profile

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and commercially driven.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field‑based role.
  • Organised with strong time‑management abilities.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Positive, energetic and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience in FMCG, drinks, foodservice or retail sales.
  • Understanding of the Irish retail or foodservice landscape.

Required skills

  • Experience using CRM systems.
