Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive profitable revenue growth for PSC Biotech by acquiring new clients and building strategic relationships across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and CDMO sectors. The role will work closely with recruitment, operations and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the life‑sciences industry.
• Generate and qualify leads through market research, networking, industry events and referrals.
• Manage the full business‑development lifecycle: prospecting, client engagement, solution presentations, proposal development, commercial negotiations, contract execution and closure.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders in HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and Executive leadership.
• Prepare proposals, Statements of Work, pricing structures and commercial agreements in collaboration with internal teams.
• Partner with recruitment, operations and technical subject‑matter experts to ensure client requirements are fully understood.

Required profile

• Highly motivated professional with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and managing complex sales cycles.
• Experience selling solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical‑device or CDMO organisations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver client‑focused solutions.
