About the role
Join a market‑leading global logistics provider as a Business Development Manager focused on European road groupage solutions. Based in the Republic of Ireland, you will work remotely while spending time in the field meeting customers across Cork, Limerick and Dublin.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers in sectors such as fashion, DIY, chemicals and medical equipment.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects using your existing network and proactive outreach.
- Collaborate with an internal sales colleague to prepare quotes and proposals.
- Deliver tailored logistics solutions that meet client requirements and drive revenue growth.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high client retention and satisfaction.
Required profile
- Proven track record in road freight sales and business development.
- Strong hunter mentality combined with excellent account‑management abilities.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned territory.
Required skills
- Experience selling road freight or groupage logistics services.
