Business Development Manager - EV

About the role

The Business Development Manager – EV will drive growth of ITW Performance Polymers' structural adhesive solutions within the automotive and electric‑vehicle market. Working in a fast‑paced, innovative environment, you will combine an entrepreneurial mindset with strategic planning to capture new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the structural adhesive business in the Automotive/EV segment, owning revenue targets and growth plans.
• Define and execute strategic plans for key accounts, collaborating with the Segment Manager and Sales Director.
• Identify and engage influencers and decision‑makers across customer organizations, tailoring messaging to each stakeholder.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and other decision‑makers, driving specifications and new project acquisition.
• Negotiate terms, pricing and contract conditions while ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Maintain competitive and market intelligence to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, engineering, product development and marketing to move concepts from business case to market launch.
• Utilise Salesforce.com to manage sales pipelines, pricing, and account information.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry meetings.
