About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead sales activity across Ireland for a well‑established supplier of industrial equipment and production solutions. Working autonomously, you will focus on generating new business and nurturing existing customer relationships within fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across the Irish market.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and closing.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and address customer requirements.
- Build and sustain long‑term relationships with manufacturing and industrial clients.
Required profile
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience in manufacturing, industrial or production‑focused sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage opportunities in a structured, results‑driven manner.
- Strong organisational, communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to market development.
