Business Development Manager – Ireland (Field-Based)

About the role
This field‑based Business Development Manager role focuses on generating new business and strengthening relationships across Ireland. You will split your time between travelling to meet electrical contractors, consultants and partners, and working from the Dublin office.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout Ireland.
- Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, consultants and channel partners.
- Promote and support specification of key data‑cabling and network infrastructure product lines.
- Drive sales growth in commercial, industrial and data‑centre sectors.
- Contribute to commercial strategy and market expansion initiatives.
- Track pipeline and activity using CRM systems.
- Provide market insights and regular reporting to the Sales Director.
Required profile
- 3‑5+ years of experience in electrical, data networking or technical sales.
- Proven track record in business development or external sales.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish electrical contractor market.
- Experience with channel sales or distribution models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Full, valid driving licence.

What we offer
- Competitive base salary €60,000‑€70,000 per year.
- On‑target earnings €30,000‑€40,000.
