Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, commercially‑focused Business Development Manager to drive growth for our engineering services within the pharmaceutical sector. You will expand the client base, nurture long‑term relationships, and position the company as a trusted partner in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities through market research, sector analysis and competitor monitoring.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention and repeat business.
• Build strategic partnerships with external businesses, negotiate contracts and support commercial agreements.
• Design and execute business development strategies aligned with long‑term company goals, setting measurable targets and KPIs.
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations, manage objections and negotiate commercial terms.
• Generate and qualify leads via networking, events, referrals and targeted outreach.
• Track performance, report pipeline progress to leadership and refine strategies based on market intelligence.
• Represent the brand at industry events, conferences and networking forums.
