Business Development Manager – Mortgage & Workplace Banking

About the role

We are a well‑established financial services provider seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead mortgage growth and workplace banking initiatives across South Dublin. The role offers autonomy, a strong local network, and the opportunity to build a high‑performing mortgage book.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate new mortgage leads through networking, referrals and targeted business development activities.
• Develop and expand workplace banking partnerships with local employers and professional networks.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of mortgage opportunities.
• Manage clients from initial consultation through to mortgage drawdown, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
• Deliver tailored mortgage solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the brand within the local community, strengthening market presence in Rathfarnham and surrounding areas.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales and performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record in mortgage sales and business development.
• Strong existing network in South Dublin.
• Ability to self‑generate leads and manage the full mortgage lifecycle independently.
• Commercial mindset with strong closing ability.
• QFA or APA qualification (minimum requirement).
