Business Development Manager – Road Freight Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand our European road freight and groupage services across Ireland. The role is fully remote, with a focus on building a pipeline of new customers in Dublin, Cork and Limerick and converting prospects into long‑term partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new road freight and logistics opportunities across industrial, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, engineering and commercial sectors.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and solution‑based proposals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through strong relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Keep accurate pipeline and forecast data in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience selling freight or logistics services.
• Proven track record in new‑business development and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling road freight, groupage or transport solutions.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working remotely and managing a territory.
