Business Development Representative (EMEA)

About the role

Docker is looking for a results‑oriented Business Development Representative to join its remote‑first, globally distributed sales team. You will focus on qualifying inbound and outbound leads across the EMEA region, helping prospects discover the value of Docker’s commercial licensing and enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage existing Docker users who show a propensity to purchase commercial licenses.
• Identify customer needs, challenges and interest in Docker’s product portfolio.
• Schedule discovery meetings and hand‑off qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
• Achieve targets for qualified prospects and new pipeline opportunities.
• Respond to inbound inquiries and qualify interest in Docker products.
• Provide a strong first impression by adding value at every touchpoint.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to relay customer feedback.
• Participate in team development and mentoring activities.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role with a proven track record.
• Proficiency in English; additional German, French or Spanish is a plus.
• Strong phone, written and listening communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, high integrity and a team‑first mentality.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
