Business Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Business Tax Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of business clients, helping them navigate corporation tax, VAT and employment tax challenges while driving growth and innovation. In this pivotal position you will oversee compliance and advisory services, manage junior team members and work closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate tax compliance and advisory engagements for SMEs and larger corporates.
• Manage and mentor junior staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on client and group management tasks.
• Deliver specialised tax solutions, including international tax and R&D tax credit projects.
• Support business development initiatives and ensure departmental KPIs are met.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax legislation and professional guidelines.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or equivalent.
• Significant corporate tax experience in a professional or industry setting.
• Proven experience managing people and client relationships.
• Ability to work within a hybrid model based in Dublin.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
