Camps Supervisor

About the role

The Camps Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day administration of the Simberi mine camp, overseeing accommodation, laundry, and maintenance teams. Reporting to the Camps Superintendent, you will ensure the camp operates safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily camp operations, including booking systems, flight schedules and employee rosters.
• Maintain clean and functional ablution, laundry, recreation, dining, and living areas.
• Coordinate timely maintenance of power, water, and drainage systems.
• Oversee camp security, waste disposal and environmental compliance.
• Conduct audits, monitor work quality and ensure statutory compliance.
• Lead training initiatives, identify skill gaps and support staff development.
• Prepare accurate administrative reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising camp or facility operations.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to interpret legislation and company policies.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Inflight booking system.
