Catering Assistant – Child‑focused Kitchen Team

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our child‑focused kitchen team in Sandyford. You will work alongside an experienced chef in a supportive environment, helping to deliver nutritious meals and snacks for children.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh fruit and snacks for children.
• Assist with serving and dishing up meals.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Support the chef with day‑to‑day kitchen duties.
• Transport meals to the Beacon Southquarter location.
• Manage food allergies with strict awareness and control.

Required profile

• Full, clean driving licence (essential).
• Comfortable driving a van (vehicle provided).
• Strong attention to hygiene and food safety standards.
• Good awareness of allergies and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
• Reliable, organised, and proactive.
